About Me
My name is Anna Caltabiano. I am a student filmmaker and journalist who’s ready to take on the real world and make my own mark on the film industry.
Despite being born in São Paulo, Brasil, I was raised in Fort Lauderdale. I am now based in New York, where I am pursuing a Film and Television BFA from NYU Tisch. Growing up, I always felt a special connection to film and television, as if I were in a movie or series myself. My passion, however, truly flourished when I joined my school’s journalism program. In my freshman year, I bought my first camera and took off into the work I’ve completed today.
Currently, my goal is to jumpstart my career as a filmmaker by using my platform to share issues I’m passionate about, such as my culture and social dilemmas. I strive to convey fascinating and intriguing stories in a way that is true and unique to myself, and am beyond ready to work with a team that has a vision like mine.
In the future, I plan to see myself working alongside critically acclaimed production companies and even producing my own films and series; however, I am very open to the opportunities thrown at me as life goes along the way.
